Usage & Resets
Every Poke plan comes with a usage allowance, and Poke keeps working when you reach it. It just adjusts how it runs until your usage resets. How that works depends on whether you're on Free, Pro, or Ultra.
Your current usage and reset date are always shown on your subscription page.
Poke Free
Free lets you use Poke every day at no cost, with no credit card required. This plan includes a small usage allowance that's enough to get a feel for Poke and handle light everyday use.
What Happens When You Reach the Limit
Poke never stops responding on Free. Once you've used your allowance it keeps helping in a lighter mode until it resets.
When It Resets
Your Free allowance refills automatically, so full speed returns on its own. There's nothing you need to do. Your subscription page shows how much you've used and when your usage next resets.
If you want more, Poke Pro adds automations that work in the background for you and a much larger allowance.
Poke Pro
Pro includes a generous usage allowance for heavier, everyday use, shown as a single Usage bar on your subscription page. Your allowance refills automatically on a rolling basis.
As long as you're under your allowance, Poke runs at full speed with no restrictions. You only enter a slower, limited mode once your allowance is used up.
What Happens When You Reach the Limit
Poke never stops responding when you hit your limit. It keeps helping, just in a lighter mode until things reset.
In this lighter mode Poke stays quick for everyday requests, and the most demanding work waits until your allowance resets.
When It Resets
Your allowance refills automatically, so your Usage bar steps back down and Poke returns to full speed on its own. There's nothing you need to do. Your subscription page shows when your usage next resets.
Heavy usage is often driven by automations firing very frequently. If you keep hitting the limit, ask Poke to review your automations and trim the ones running most often.
If you regularly need more, Poke Ultra removes these limits with frontier models and pay as you go usage.
Poke Ultra
Ultra works on credits instead of a refilling usage allowance. Your plan includes a monthly pool of credits (1 credit = $1 of usage), and Ultra runs frontier models on every action while you have credits available.
When Your Credits Reset
Your included credits refill at the start of each monthly billing cycle. Whatever you didn't use doesn't carry over, and each cycle starts fresh with your full included pool.
If You Run Out Before the Cycle Ends
You'll never hit a hard wall on Ultra. If you use up your included credits before your next reset, you have two options:
- Keep going at the Pro experience. Poke automatically continues at the full Pro tier experience for the rest of the billing cycle, and your credits refill on the normal monthly reset.
- Top up to restore Ultra immediately. Buy more credits any time from your subscription page to bring back full Ultra limits right away. You can also turn on auto‑reload so credits top up automatically when your balance runs low.
Topped up credits and pay as you go usage are how Ultra keeps running past your included pool. Your included credits still reset monthly regardless of any top ups.
